I’m still figuring out how to use this site…and some posts that I’ve updated didn’t show up..and they weren’t auto saved..so here I am, filling this space with technological frustrations..instead of what I had originally typed..which was attempting to smile at myself in the mirror…even if I don’t want to. I don’t remember what I wrote earlier but it was something along the lines of neuro-plasticity and creating new pathways to improve the quality of whatever.  so, saying “I love you”,  to your reflection can probably help even if it seems totally silly and unusual..which according to my sis, it was.  I told her to give it a shot but she felt ‘awkward’ about the whole thing..and I wondered, is it uncomfortable because it’s unusual or is it uncomfortable because we, as humans don’t give ourselves permission to simply…reflect on our…reflection? so I will attempt to give myself a few seconds of time to reflect, smile and utter the oddity, “I love you..yeah me, you..that’s right uh huh.”  giggles.
