Leave a commentRivky’s work continues to receive recognition in New York, The Hamptons, Massachusetts, Israel and Canada, as well as being published in Yale‘s literary magazine, ROAR. This Summer Rivky has been invited to create her meditative umbrella designs for the NEPA Yoga Festival and Inclusion Festival of 2022.
Her creative curiosities have lead her into jewelry design, upcycling watchfobs, as part of an important initiative helping people with mental illness. Rivky also joined forces with Fountain Gallery to design the December Holiday Shop, where Rivky’s hand-painted Mandala umbrellas were among the items for sale -and all of them sold. One of Rivky’s paintings, “Teffilin Nude”, was endearingly fought over between two collectors and eventually sold to Former President of Macy’s, Sheila and James E. Gray. While the famed collector, Hagberg snagged “Woman With A Parasol.”
When Rivky isn’t composing, painting or singing, she’s cooking. Exquisitely and sometimes rather peculiar, but delicious concoctions. Currently Pistachio Bourbon Butter and a reinvention of the Matzoh Ball “Curriyaki” Dumpling. Yes it’s as good as it sounds.
